Registered Nurse in Texas for 31 years (class of 1992). I have worked in many various fields including cardiology, dilasys, medical/surgical nursing, ER, rehab, renal, pre and post operative care. I have also been a nursing instructor, where I taught cardiac, orthopedics,endocrine with an emphasis on diabetes, anatomy and physiology, dosage calculation, and general nursing care, including work in the skills lab. My comments on tutoring English : English is the language I use on a daily basis to work in offices, teach in classrooms and to communicate. I like students to speak good English.

I feel that learning does not have to be painful and so I make it enjoyable by simplifying the materials. I use powerPoint, lectures, I do role play, group work and challenging methods where students have to use their intelligence to answer questions. I make students solve questions in class to show that they understood the materials.
