As a graduate in meteorology with a minor in math, I have had plenty of experience with math and science. I have had the pleasure of sharing this knowledge by tutoring children in these fields. My first experience occurred when I was a senior in college: I tutored students in math individually and in groups. It was enjoyable to assist students in Algebra up to Calculus. My education is from Brazil. I have graduated from LETRAS, TRADUTOR/INTERPRETE at the Universidade Ibero Americana in Sao Paulo. Since 1991 I have been teaching ESL for Brazilian students. Once I moved to the USA, I have had the experience of working as an ESL teacher for the Latino Community in some palces in Eugene, Oregon. Right now I am working at Springfiled High School as a bilingual assistant providing help to the ELL students.
When I was working as an ESL teacher in Brazil, each school used to have their own material. We used to participate in trainings to get familiar with the material and then start teaching.
