Typing became no longer in high school, why? Kids today growing up haven't a clue to know what it feels like to have to take a typing test. The art is lost. Do big time corporatiojs even care? Maybe not, dollars and cents seem to be the rave anymore. I failed typing in high school. I will never forget my typing teacher Mrs. Stanley. She taught me alot, and more than just how to type. I eneded up taking typing during night classes, while still attending school during the day my senior year. I am so thankful I aquired and somewhat mastered the skill. My comments on tutoring Typing Skills : I teach typing for beginners, immediate and expert.... I'm a very gifted typing instructor due to my typing teacher who taught me that sitting properly and not being afraid of the typewriter. That is how I got through typing in my first year of college.

Students sometimes feel too vulnerable to try things when they don't know someone because they do not want to make mistakes. I would let them know that the only way to get better at something is to make mistakes so they can learn from those mistakes by making the appropriate corrections. Confidence is key.
