In 2005 I graduated from Fredonia University with childhood education including a middle school extension in English. I completed my master's degree in Special Education from Medaille University in 2008. I hold a New York Certification in Childhood Education as well as English through grade 9. I have been working with children ever since I can remember. I love to engage in creative activities with children while helping them utilize their strengths to overcome their limitations. I've learned that by figuring out what motivates a child, s/he can learn anything! I also know that if a child is having fun, it means that s/he is learning something. My teaching style is fun, unique, focused, hands-on and engaging. I have spent my life working towards degrees that would help me to give my life meaning. I have earned a B.S. and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, as well as, a bilingual extension in Spanish. Since I also love healing through nutrition and energy work, I've earned degrees in Health Counseling and Reconnective Healing. As a graduate of Pfeiffer University in North Carolina, I have been blessed to work with students of all grade levels. I received my BA in Elementary Education grades K-6. Having a degree in elementary education has really helped me expand my knowledge in all subject areas. I have learned through my four years of education different materials, techniques and hands on experiences to help students retain information. I have always loved working with children and helping them grow as a person. I am patient, passionate and enthusiastic when helping children. I actively engage each student through the use of manipulatives, technology and fun hands on learning activities to fit each student’s individual needs.
