A Little Bit About Me...

I am willing to tailor my teaching style to the needs of the individual(s). However, I prefer to add an interactive element to all of my lessons.
I worked with a variety of ages from k-12. My most recent experience has been with students in elementary school. I worked for a semester teaching children about sustainable practices and the benefits of buying produce from local farms. I was a teacher of deaf and hard of hearing students of all ages and abilities for 33 years. I have a sign language background and use all modes of communication to assist students. My students varied in all ability levels from learning support to life skills in addition to hearing impairment. I have a passion for working individually with students to find their personal learning styles so that they can succeed and excel academically.
