After an opportunity to assist a professor in administering a freshman course, I applied to teach high school in Pasco County. I taught world history and psychology for one year before returning to school for my Master of Arts degree in History. Some students are more aggressive and advanced but there are those who are silent and will not speak out about difficulties understanding competencies.
