This really depends on the subject, however, I like to do drills to keep basic skills sharp, and to learn new skills. Each student is different, and will need slightly adjusted methodology. I'm also very open to suggestion.
I am a few years out of high school, and I've taken several college classes. My AP knowledge spans almost every subject. I can help with almost all high school level classes and below. I have worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for the past 8 years. I am currently attending school to become a special education teacher. I have experience teaching many different students from various grade levels and have tracked their academic progression. I have ran several reading and math interventions for my school sites for kindergarten through 8th grade.
Interactive modeling of examples, repetition, and simplifying subject matter are key components of my teaching style.
