My comments on tutoring English ESOL : I am a native speaker of English and have taught foreign languages for several years.

I earned a M.A. in Japanese language and literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to that I was hotel concierge in Hawaii responsible for helping Japanese guests and hotel staff communicate. I worked for Nissin Travel in Columbus, Ohio as a travel agent for Japanese clients. I received a B.A in Japanese language and linguistics from the Ohio State University in 1994. I was an exchange student in 1992 at Kansai Gaidai Foreign Language University.
