I graduated from a German university in 2011 and have lived in the USA since November the same year, teaching my husband, his family and friends German. Making languages fun and easy!

Have been tutoring in languages since I mastered English myself. I am a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Ecuador then moved to the US to continue school and graduate high school. I attended a university in Ecuador for a year and all through high school took French as my alternative language course. I took a national French exam to see the ranking I was in and ranked 8th in the whole US.
I like personal relationships, first I evaluate your level of knowledge in three categories speaking, writing, reading/comprehension and based on that we will work on your strong points first to perfect them and then move on to the weaker areas.

Learn English from a native English speaker

I studied Arabic in college. One of my employees was from Jordan. He was trying to learn English. I would help him with his English. English is not an easy language to learn from a book. You have to be immersed in conversation to learn its many rules (and broken rules). This can only be done with someone who is native English speaking and knows enough of your language to communicate this to you. Having learned Arabic I know how Arabic is spoken and how to teach you how to think about speaking English. This is a very important step to progress that is left out of so many training programs. I learned how to speak Arabic better by listening to my Arabic speaking friend speak broken English.

English ESOL is one of my top subjects!

I spent the last year teaching English in China. I have experience teaching ESOL, and am experienced dealing learners of English of a second language. I studied Chinese during my stint there and am willing and able to tutor beginning students of the Chinese language who want to develop functional skills in Mandarin for career or personal development. I was an A-student during my time in college and often was the leader of study groups and offered personal tutoring to students struggling in my biblical Hebrew class. I first became passionate about teaching while I was teaching English in China. I received a BS in Bible with a minor in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), which has provided me with an understanding of linguistics, teaching methods, grammar, and language acquisition.
