Finance is one of my top subjects! I have an accounting degree, but took alot of finance classes in college. I am a CPA which involves alot of finance. I recently took the CMA (Certified Managerial Accounting) Exam. Finance is tested very heavily on the exam. I believe I did very well on the exam. I should have my results in a few weeks.

I am a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). I worked at a public accounting (CPA) firm for 7 years. I love tutoring and teaching accounting. I am very friendly and easy to work with and establish positive working relationships easily. I worked as a tutor when I was in college. I recently sat for the CMA (Certified Managerial Accounting) Exam. I should be receiving my results soon. I believe I scored very high on the exam. I really enjoy tutoring and helping others out. I am very knowledgeable in the subjects of accounting, finance, and math. My tutoring style is one of explaining the subject matter in a logical easy to follow sequence. I am also very patient. I enjoy working with children and always have. I feel my teaching style is more in the Socratic method in that I like to ask them questions until they come to the answer themselves because I feel that increases the retention rate of the subject. Additionally, I like to take the concepts that are being taught and give them real world applications and examples to make the learning more relevant.
Throughout high school and college I volunteered at a local summer theater workshop for children. In this program I started out as a teen counselor and moved on to be an adult helper and play director. Also, I worked for a summer as a camp counselor for the Freeport Youth Summer Program where I led children in games and some educational programming. In college I acted as an informal tutor and study buddy to classmates.

Next, I would work with the client to identify the problem areas and create a list ranking them from major to minor. With each session, we would work through the list only advancing when the client was comfortable with the subject matter.
