A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience working with ages 5-20. I have worked with students in reading and spelling for 5 years. Many of these children were diagnosed with dyslexia and/or ADHD. In addition to working with students in reading I also have 2 years experience in tutoring in accounting courses! My strongest area of teaching is in English, and taught high school English as a full-time temporary position for a teacher on pregnancy leave. Growing up I always loved nature, the outdoors, and gardening. This drove me to get education in the biological sciences. I have a BS in Plant Sciences/Agronomy and a Doctorate of Plant Medicine degree (a new graduate program) both from the University of Florida.
