My comments on tutoring Jazz Dancing : two years training, one year of competitive jazz dancing.

I have tutored many young students throughout my life, and have been tutored myself. I do find it easier to work with younger children; however, I am capable of assisting those of high school or college age students who are struggling. I have helped young children learn how to read, write, count, and tell time on an analog clock. Though I do not have strictly professional tutoring experience (I have never been paid for my services) I know how to identify student's learning style(s) and work with them a way that they will benefit from. I believe that children and adult education is extremely important, and I can also assist those of any age who would like to learn to read and write.

I am a 22 year old professional dancer/teacher and I have my Bachelors of Arts in dance from UC Irvine. I have been dancing since the tender age of two both nationally and internationally, working with some of the top choreographers and performing on some major platforms thus far, including various award shows, music videos, and commercials. I currently teach hip-hop and tap to kids ages 4-17 at elementary schools and a local Los Angeles dance studio.
