Many students have had the Ben Stein type of teacher thru their math schooling, and don't know the subject for its logic-based simplicity. I believe and use a little theatrics, encouragement, and patience. With these, my students can be reached. These were traits my advisor looked for us to develop in our early starts as teachers. Smart man. I saw it countless times while at the board lecturing or during my office hours at the University - a dry presentation fails. I excel at personal communication, and make it my first goal to find out how the student is going to learn the best.
