Japanese is one of my top subjects! I studied the Japanese language at UC Berkeley and University of Oxford. I also worked as a tutor under the Japanese language department at UC Berkeley. I am good at improving students' oral conversation skill and an expert on writing in Japanese.

My policy is that I do not correct students when they make mistakes during a practice to speak because I believe that it is much more important to build up confidence to speak Japanese than to speak correctly. However, when I access their writings, I am pretty intense to correct mistakes that they have made because I know that it will eventually help them to improve their oral communication skills.
I worked as a tutor at the Japanese Language Department of UC Berkeley. In the institution, I helped students from various cultural/ethnical backgrounds to improve their oral communication skills, as well as their reading and writing skills. As an actual achievement, I enabled students who hadn't spoken almost at all to speak what they wanted to say at least.

I am the author of The Globalization of Trade, an introduction to the economics of globalization for young readers (published in 2004).
