In conclusion, I think that I can still be successful in teaching. I however, need to find what area that I can be most successful at. I think that with my non-traditional training and experience, that a similar position would give me the opportunity to be most successful. One thing that I have thought a great deal about these past few weeks, is that I am entering middle age and must be a success at something. While working at Breakthrough as an Educator Coordinator for 2 years, I performed the following: Worked with 75+ clients aged 16 and older in the Education program for adult students with a mental illness,tutored high school math, algebra and geometry, and tutored grammar to a client learning ESL. In June 2008, successfully completed 9 hours of tutor training taught through Goodwill Adult Literacy program.
