Private and group lessons- Beginner Level Dance!

No matter the technique, I always start with a thorough warm up. I begin with relaxing exercises and lead into more rigorous and conditioning exercises. I then move on to teaching and reviewing the technique. I always make sure the client has a basic understanding of the form before moving onto more advance movement. I end with repertory/choreography to further develop the clients understanding of the movement and implement their findings into practical means. Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Creative Writing is my passion. I love to teach Creative Writing, because just as in composition, you learn about the student's style and imagination. Reading is the Key to Success!

My teaching style is flexible. I create a lesson plan that is individualized and benficial to that of the student I am tutoring. I adapt and adjust the curriculum to what is of primary importance to my student.
I have worked in the field of education as a teacher for 30 years. I have taught basic skills in foundations of Reading to middle school students. I have also taught all subject areas to elementary school children. The most memorable and most valuable experience in my career was teaching first graders how to read. It takes a trained professional to be able to lay out the framework children need to learn how to read. I taught basic skills to incarcerated men in a NJ Correctional Facility. I have experience working with first generation college students in need of remedial coursework before advancing to college level courses.
