I was a senior scientist - engineer for 37 years. I retired to care for my comatose wife at home, and she died a few months later. This situation has left me open to new directions. My teaching experience has been 3 years as a graduate teaching assistant, and 2 years as a tutor to friends and family in science and mathematics. I’m Lebanese which makes me fluent in Arabic, French and English. I hold a masters degree and several certificates in Nutrition. My background may not be in teaching or languages but there is no better way to learn a language than from a native! In my high school years we took Arabic courses every week for 12 years. Helping students learn and learn how to grow

My teaching style is very interactive. I believe in reading out-loud and having discussions about what things mean and how they may relate to other aspects of Biology. I believe that everyone has a different learning style and I will always try to find new ways of getting the point across to someone.
