I have been substitute teaching steadily for the past several months and enjoy it immensely. Teaching is such a rewarding experience. It is an amazing feeling when you help a student learn something that they previously had been struggling with. Although I have used Expert and Formal formats, I prefer to incorporated Personal and Facilitator styles. Personal establishes a prototype for how to think and behave. It oversees, guides, and directs by showing how to do things. Facilitator guides and directs students by asking questions, exploring options, suggesting alternatives.
