A Little Bit About Me...

I have two younger brothers, ages 14 and 15, who I feel have made me that great tutor that I am today. Along with the assistance and support of my mother, we have pushed them to learn at a young age, and more often that not I grew up assisting them from their multiplication tables to beginner calculus. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland. I have a BS in Industrial Technology Engineering which has allowed me to successfully teach others in the areas of science, math and language. Teaching (tutoring) strategies will vary with each individual case but in all cases the student must be kept motivated and interested by providing real life situations that relate to the subject being studied while, at the same time, maintaining a pace that is neither low nor overwhelming.
Almost all my extensive and diverse experience has been in engineering management in both the public and private sectors. While attending Rutgers University, tutored minority students in both math and English in Newark College of Engineering.
