I have been teaching children that have learning disabilities for ten years. I also have worked with children that have severe emotional problems. I will be graduating from Grand Canyon University in December with my master's degree in special education. For the past few years I have been tutoring an eighth grader in grammar and poetry. my teaching style is what the children need to know about that lesson, and how can I help them get what they need to be successful in school. Classroom management is one big thing about my teaching if you don't have order in your class you not running your class its running you and that not good for teaching students. I have been a reserve teacher for the last five years in the Dayton public School system. I teacher basic education from grade k-12, but my best subject is k-3 and I am getting my certify license in early childhood education at Central State. I just got done with my student teaching and that was very educational for me because it was just about what I was already doing in teaching but it let me know that I was doing what I had learning in school. I also worked with preschooler so I know what they can do at their age level.

I tutored 1st-3rd grade phonics to my little sister as well as basic math (such as addition, subtraction, multiplication tables, and division). I also tutored a 7th-8th grade boy in pre-algebra for over a year. I helped bring his grade up from a low C to a high B.
