Children have different ways of learning. It might be visual, audio, or hands on. I learn about the child to try to establish his / her learning style. With this I can individualize my teaching style to each student. I believe all children want to learn, it's just learning what is the best way for them to learn and keeping the child motivated to learn.
I am a certified teacher in Colorado. I graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a BA in education, majoring in PE. I also have a degree in Business / Accounting. As an undergraduate, I became very passionate about the sciences and graduated with a BA in Chemistry with a minor in Psychology and Biology.
