As a dentist, I was trained in classroom anatomy and physiology and laboratory gross anatomy with cadavers. I have used the information I learned in clinical practice and since retiring from dentistry to further my pleasure in continued medical learning. Anatomy has always been fascinating to me. All the "connections" so to speak that go together to make us functioning human beings!
As for Japanese, I lived and worked in Japan for 16 years. The first two years to took formal Japanese language instruction. In my daily life I did not use English except at home. My children went to Japanese schools. I enjoy most working one-to-one with a student who is interested in the subject matter and wants to learn.
