I have been working as a professional software engineer/programmer since 1984 and am still working in that capacity. Throughout this time I have also been a tutor. Professional Tutor in Programming and in English Language

Computer Science: The style depends upon the students needs. I can explain concepts verbally and visually. I expect the student to put effort into their course, but I will help the student with difficult concepts, finding errors in their code, suggesting improvements to code, etc. English: I believe in an interactive approach. Speaking is the best way to learn a language. However, I will also help the student understand the reasons behind the grammar, origin of words and why this is important to English spelling, with pronounciation, and with writing skills.
