*Math and Accounting Tutor*

I have worked in the accounting field for the past 12 years. I received my Masters degree in finance a couple years ago and I am currently studying for the CPA exam. I have extensive knowledge in many areas as well as hands on training. I just became a partner for a local accounting firm. I can tutor high school students and college students of any degree with any field pertaining to accounting and finance. I also have a significant amount of knowledge in several other fields such as math, English, childhood education, and human anatomy.

I am a friendly, out going person who is very invested in my students work. I believe that to write well one must have a relationship with the content that matters to him or her. I enjoy learning about a person and taking on a mentorship role as well as a direct and focused editing role.
I have extensive experience tutoring and mentoring students in creative writing and composition arenas. As lead teaching assistant for entry-level undergraduate Creative Writing courses at Oberlin College, I facilitated small group workshops, provided students with feedback on their writing, and wrote lesson plans designed to help each individual improve technically as a writer. I am currently a Special Education Teacher within the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 school years. Prior to my employment there I was a building substitute within the Albany City School District as well as a certified BOCES substitute approved through many schools throughout the Capital Region. I completed my Masters at the University at Albany in Summer of 2013 in both Special Education and Literacy.
