I attended ECSU and majored in their writing program all of my time their, i also gained a minor in creative writing as well as a minor in sociology. while at ECSU i studied poetry with Dr. Daniel Donaghy and creative writing with a number of professors. i was published in "Eastern Exposure" ECSU's writing journal in 2011 and 2012.

I believe in order for success a student has to understand the basics in order to solve increasingly complicated problems in school. When tutoring I make sure that when a student is solving a problem they not only understand what they are doing but why they are doing it. A Little Bit About Me...

I greatly enjoy finding a way to inspire a child to understand the problem at hand. Through from my experience in grade school and my observation of students that attend tough schools I've realized the monotonous class schedule and disciplinary philosophy of most schools deflates most student's desire to succeed. While I can relate to this rebellious reaction I also know that it is no excuse for not trying very hard in school because the main path to success as a young adult is a high school diploma with excellent grades. I am very patient and friendly with students of all abilities.

I have a passion for children, I strongly believe in educating the younger generation due to the fact that they are the future. I am currently self-employed as a computer software trainer. My practice includes clients as well as groups. As part of my work, I'm currently an adjunct professor at 2 local community colleges. I'm also a Sunday school teacher at my local congregation. I've been doing this for many years. My classes over the years have ranged from K-6th grade. I thoroughly enjoy it and it's fair to say I get more than I give. Finally, I also teach adult ed as part of my business.
