The only way to remember information long term is to relate it to something tangible, especially in subjects like statistics and economics. While at the undergraduate level I learned about all manner of skill in writing from research papers to poetry. I am currently finishing up a Teaching Writing course at the graduate level at the University of New Hampshire.
