I have taught myself ASL for the last 4 years, and only recently took a class. I was too advanced for the class, and all the other classes offered, and now I meet with my teacher once a week to practice. I am in college to become an ASL Interpreter. Aside from the language itself, I also know a lot about deaf culture and I am more that happy to tutor for either subject.

My experience working with children is in the area of those with mental health issues, most of which have learning disabilities as well. I love my work and I love children. I believe that all children can learn when you consider what kind of learner they are.
