My comments on tutoring Reading : I am a graduate of Tuskegee University with a Bachelor's Degree in English. I also have special training in creative and script writing also.

My tutoring experience started in high school as an Advanced English student taking Honors English where we helped our peers taking standard English 12. I have taught public school in the Montgomery County School System for 26 years. I retired May 2010. I have taught grades 1-6 in All subject areas. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1983 from Auburn University. I received my Master's Degree in Education from Troy State University at Montgomery in 1990. I have worked extensively with children in many areas due to the No Child left Behind Act. My comments on tutoring Reading : If your student needs help learning to read, I can be of assistance.

My teaching style is very hands-on. I want my students to remember what they're learning because it is interesting, not just toss information out by rote. I think that it's very important to have fun while learning, so I try to make my tutoring sessions fun and engaging.
