I graduated Boston College with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in liberal arts;susequentally I earned a D.D.S. Degree fron NYU. I went from the Boston Public Schools to Commonwealth School and then Wellesley College, and would have been lost, early on, without help from tutors. I majored in English and Russian and work with several communities for whom English is not their first language. I am also a freelance writer and editor and I help my children's friends with their college essays. I work as a substitute teacher with all levels and grades and teach everything but Science and Gym.
I am patient and approachable but insist on the value of completing assignments even if the student "hates" them.
