I love to educate children of many ages I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old in the house. You teach many different aspects of life, not just academically. Being a tutor for grades 6-8 was different because they had the basics. They needed to be informed and focused. Substitute teaching grades K-8 was rather different because the children acted as though they haven't learned anything, so you had to make them feel comfortable. I love teaching with repetition and visual. With patience, understanding, and love a child can learn anything.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have always wanted students to really know the material being covered. This has meant keeping their interest through jovial yet concentrated lesson planning. I have always strived to make my students feel comfortable and to take on the responsibility for their own learning. Much too often Educators show students how to answer questions rather than helping the student learn how to handle new scenarios. Most of my work experience was gain as a teacher’s aide.I work in a self contained classroom.I worked with students in small groups or individually.I would grade and enter grades for the teacher.I took students to Physical Education by myself.I organize and prepare the learning material for the week.I taught science and computer skills portion of the classroom.Each student gave a short PowerPoint on what they where learning in science during Parent Conference.First quarter of the year I was an Assistant Soccer Coach and the rest of the year in the After School Program working with elementary students as a tutor.On occasional I tutored high school students during my personal lunch period.
