I have been teaching for 25 years. Most of my teaching was in religious settings working with teens, but I have also tutored younger children with school studies in after school programs and I have taught Microsoft Office, Keyboarding and Business classes in an accredited adult learning center. I have trained teens to do on air radio announcing, creating magazine publications, web design and have taught guitar and bass. I love teaching and working with children of all backgrounds and age levels. I would say my main quality is the ability to connect with students in fun and interesting ways to get the subject matter across.
Prior to graduating from the Ohio State University with a degree in World Economics & Business, I interned with the Godman Guild Association. Working for the Youth and Family Services department, I collaborated with counselors in an after-school mentoring program designed to promote self-sufficiency and leadership development for 100-plus underprivileged teens. My most recent position as an English Teaching Assistant in France enhanced my communication skills ten-fold.
