While rewarding, I missed the challenge of more literary pursuits and began teaching evening classes at a local communuity-based organization. I have tutored students privately in subjects ranging from languages to math since 2001. One student has continued French lessons four hours a week every summer for five years. I completed a one-year French as a foreign language course in Martinique. I have taught several French for Beginners adult classes. I substitute teach at the local schools, and cover all ages and subjects (some of which I am more qualified for than others, and in the event I am less qualified, I let the students teach me what they know).
I have wanted to teach since I was in second grade, and am currently working toward my license in Massachusetts.
