A Little Bit About Me...

I have taugh young girls ranging from 10-13 years old for an LDS Church, and enjoyed working with these girls, arranged activities to fun places and helped college students with certain skill sets - math, English, Computer Programming (C+, Networking, Access, PeopleSoft). I am a very helpful person who loves to help others to success with their classes, and enjoyed seeing how their grades improved with some of the help that I have rendered to these students - they did well on their tests, quizzes and coached them with Speech class as well. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities to help other students and many have gone on to graduate from high schools and colleges.

I understand the importance of getting to know students on an individual basis, as everyone will learn in a different way. With art specifically, I believe it's important to be helpful and supportive while encouraging new ideas and new techniques. In teaching art, I believe one should work hands-on with the student and the chosen materials, but still introduce theories and ideas about the choices being made to give further meaning to the work.
