I am currently a student at the university of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I am majoring in early childhood education with a minor in speech pathology. I am working full time as the head aftercare teacher at hickory valley Christian school where I work with elementary school children. I have much experience in teaching, I am also a current tutor with the Honors program, working with four students ranging from 5th grade to freshman in college. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught in the public schools for 14 years in grades Kindergarten and First. I have taught English speaking children as well as Hispanic children whose first language is Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

Education is of utmost importance to me, and I believe that all children can learn, but some lack the study skills necessary to succeed in school. While in pursuit of my psychology major at Converse College, I attended various classes and seminars on learning styles. I feel that each child has its own potential, and if we as educators can empower students to feel as though they can succeed, great things happen.

I have earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University. I have more than 100 hours of volunteer experience in all fields of area due to being in organizations like Alpha Phi Omega, Phi Sigma Pi and President's Pride throughout my college career. I believe I'm qualified to teach computers because I use it everyday and know basically most of all the Microsoft Office.
