Teaching is not for everyone, but I knew it was for me when I started student teaching and felt the adrenaline rush of 25 eyes staring up at me for guidance. I feel the need to spread as much knowledge as possible to the up and coming generations.I always feel rewarded when the day ends because I was able to help students get a better grasp on life. I also believe that the student is the teacher as well. Through my experiance, a student can teach an instructor just as much as the instructor can teach them. A Little Bit About Me...

I started out working as a Head Start teacher's assistant and the following year I was promoted to Head Start teacher and manager. I have also worked as a 1:1 instructional assistant with a high needs student. Currently I worked in a behavior school as an instructional assistant, and I have stepped in to plan curriculum and teach all the classes because the teacher has been on paid leave this year. I also have been commuting to college in Castleton State College from Springfield after work to complete my degree in education. I have been able to keep my GPA at a 3.8 which I believe demonstrates my ability to multitask effectively.

I rarely use worksheets and textbooks to teach these skills. I prefer to make and use games and activities that will help your child master necessary skills. Learning is fun!
I have 11 years of teaching experience in various settings. I have taught in public and private schools. For six years, I was a lead teacher in a Montessori Elementary classroom.
