My background in music performances in a school setting has taught me to be able to connect with a student in a very direct and honest manner. Each student is different with different strengths and weaknesses and my first job is to understand the needs of this individual student. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 from SUNY Brockport with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, English and Special Education. I have worked as a substitute teacher in all grade levels and in all subject areas. I have been accepted into a high degree Masters program but feel I need to have a job to justify the repayment(s) of additional student loans that would be needed to finish my MA.
