I firmly believe that every child is capable of learning hard concepts, they just have to be taught in a way that is applicable to them. So I first like to get to know the student and try to figure out their learning style and teach them according to how they learn. This helps me figure out where the root of the problem is so I can fix it. Then I like to use a lot of visual and hands-on lessons because children need that to really grasp concepts and to apply it in different situations. As a music Education major, I studied the vocal techniques and instruments of piano, flute and piccolo. I have studied piano since age four - which is 28 years - from a private teacher by the name of Judy Nihlen. I have also been a member of a French Sorority in college, speaking almost fluent French. I have composed several musical compositions growing up and all throughout college. I arranged choral piece by W. A. Mozart from a Mozart aria. I also starred in an opera my sophomore year of college. I did all this while suffering from Aspergers disorder and tics due to tourettes syndrome and ADHD.

I love teaching and helping others learn something new. I love the smile in a child's eyes when they figure out what they have learned. As a type one diabetic, I constantly figure out new things and apply them to my life. I want to impact those I teach for the better, so they can share their knowledge with the world.
