My comments on tutoring French : French is my second language that is required to study for all academic years from kindergarten till college

As any student who was looking at the future with optimistic vision, I gave all my attention to reach highest degrees of studies. I have gotten a BA in english literature which enabled me to get open to knowledge about all what concerns various subjects, be it linguistics, grammar, composition. these are essential tools that helped in shaping the style and the know-how-to-write. then i got an MBA at JWU. i tutored students in english especially students exhibiting difficulties in english.
Teaching for me is a sort of a key that we give to learners. with this key they open the gates of knowledge and imbibe all fields of wisdon and philosophy. I believe teaching is a big responsibility that we are burdened with.

I have taught all grade levels but at the present time, I am teaching middle school. I have my own hands-on style in the classroom and prefer that method with the students that I tutor. Inevitably I need to teach the content required by the students' classroom teacher and have to fall back on traditional teaching methods in order to have the student become current in what is being learned at school. I am in favor of utilizing the computer as a learning tool as well as the required textbook. The computer however, gives the student instant feedback on the skills being learned and encourages the student to keep working towards their goal.

I emphasize on taking few notes but helpful ones. Speaking and listening is my main focus. Students needs to be able to communicate. Using the vocabulary in real world situations is the key, not just in the context of the chapter of the book. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with children at different levels. I use creative posters for the younger ones and like to teach the basic vocabulary to use when you meet other french speaking people. I like to use simple pictures and after learning the vocabulary they can imagine their own story. My children have learning french at school here but I noticed that they don't use enough the speaking part which for me is important.
