Dedicated dance teacher/tutor looking to share the arts!

I have attended UNC School of the Arts for 7 1/2 Years studying modern/contemporary dance. I have also been trained in ballet, jazz, and have experience doing yoga, and Pilates. I am reliable, and very determined to teach those who are willing to be taught. I have done performances, and taught in New York, Winston-Salem, and Virginia.
My teacher style is a mixture of ballet, contemporary, and jazz fusion.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have always thought of myself as a progressive teacher. I always thought children could learn to do anything they were asked to do. I always loved learning and felt it was my obligation to instill the same in all my students, no matter what age. I feel all students are influenced by the use of art and music to learn and that is what I use. I know I can make a difference in each child and give them a healthy learning environment. I will teach them to the best of my ability and help them reach their full potential.
I went to Ohio State in Art, then graduated at Ohio U. I taught 14 years in Florida and Ohio , grades 1 through 12; all subjects. I taught using primarily Art and music. I am a successful teacher because I not only teach, but I learn through those I am teaching. I have learned to be patient, with patience comes success! Compassion and understanding the struggles of a learner is very important.
