I teach to students' specific learning style. Not all students learn using the same style and I work very hard to meet each students' individual needs. I have been teaching for more than 35 years. I recently earned my Masters Degree in curriculum and instruction in Literacy. I have obtained certification with that degree a Master Reading Teacher and Reading Specialist. I have studied the best methods students learn and how to deliver instruction to meet their needs. I currently teach Reading to struggling readers at Dillman Elementary in Muleshoe ISD.

I have taken the classes I checked off, and made an A in each. I am a Freshman at Lubbock Christian University with a 4.0 in my first semester. I tutored in High School in math and science. I have been working with children for many years, in a variety of experiences. I have been a nanny for children ages 3 months - 10 years, and have served as a mentor in multiple settings. I have just recently completed my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies/Special Education with a Minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I have student taught in Kindergarten, Fifth Grade, and for a full-year in Second Grade. Teaching style varies by student and by subject, and even varies according to my level of skill in the subject matter. I have been told that I make things that are confusing or hard to understand easy, and I love that 'I see' look in a student's eyes. As a student I was always helping my friends and brothers with their school work, especially math. While in graduate school working on my Masters degree I tutored for the athletic department and even tutored some of my classmates who were college professors working on their PhD's.
