I recently completed a two-month internship in TAS/OTS in EY this summer. From this experience, I gained valuable knowledge in the advisory area. I participated in a mobile internet App project for a startup technical company. The major goal for the project is to do financial forecasting for the company. In the group, my job was to help create a business plan report and translate from Chinese to English. I also worked on cash flow forecasting. All children are students; they can learn. The question is how best do they learn? I have used many differing styles from rote memorization through self-paced self-education. I encourage students to see the wonder and "mystery" (there really isn't any mystery) of Math, regardless of the level, in the real world. To that aid, I try to present real world problems at levels the student can understand. For lower level students, I investigate with them the development of the linear equations involved in setting up a relationship between two factors. A higher level student would solve multiple linear equations. A height vs. time linear relationship then can become quadratic, thus involving sports as an application.

I began teaching in fifth grade when my science teacher conceded that I knew more about sharks than he did, so when we got to that lesson, I took over for two days. In tenth grade, I had an internship at my high school teaching ninth grade Global Studies. When I graduated college, I began substitute teaching while I wrote my first few novels.
