I have always wanted students to really know the material being covered. This has meant keeping their interest through jovial yet concentrated lesson planning. I have always strived to make my students feel comfortable and to take on the responsibility for their own learning. Much too often Educators show students how to answer questions rather than helping the student learn how to handle new scenarios. This is the essence of my teaching: helping students see the big picture so that they can handle any new scenario. My classroom always has many things going on at once, which is a direct result of the student driven learning and presenting.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a hands on teacher who really relates one on one to students. As a Business Teacher I have had to keep my knowledge of business up to date with new technologies. I can help and be very effective in most subject areas for elementary. With regards to MS & HS I would limit my tutoring to areas of English, Social Studies, Economics, and Business. The only areas of Math would be basic adding/subtracting, multiplying/dividing and learning scientific notations. As a Business Teacher and having a Masters Degree I totally understand how to write papers & format correctly using a PC. This should be an incredible help for your child. I truly enjoy teaching.
