Accounting is one of my top subjects! I am a CPA. I worked 10 years in public accounting as a manager.

I taught them and their friends over the years. I taught sunday school children. I am very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have a BA in accounting with a minor in math. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers in many areas of study.

As a high school student, I excelled at my schoolwork. I was retained as a tutor for middle school students in math and science subjects. When I entered college, my major in engineering has required that I take a lot of upper level math and science courses. These rigorous courses have strengthened my math and science skills. I am very well versed from algebra all the way to Calculus two.
I love helping people. I feel that a student can always teach a student better than a teacher. Their teaching style is a lot forgiving and the student is less intimidated knowing that someone else has been where he/she is currently. I graduated in August 1996 with a BBA in Finanace but then decided that I wanted to pursue Accounting so I went back to school to obtain my second BBA. I've worked as the VP of Internal Audit and Credit for a Federal Savings Bank, the Director of Finance for a National Bank, a Senior Financial Analyst, and the CFO/Controller for a smaller company. I am well versed in any financial or accounting matter than you may need help with.
I believe in using humor and matter of fact conversation style is the best way to teach. If you get someone interested in what you have to say then they will usually want to learn it and retain it almost effortlessly. That is the method I have used to train all of subordinates over the years and it has always worked out. Relate the lesson to something the student cares about.
