My comments on tutoring Graphic Design : I have my degree in Graphic Design, interned as a graphic designer for six months, and have done small projects for private customers. I am efficient in the Adobe programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Digital photography is also one of my hobbies. I am comfortable teaching the art and technique of digital photography.

I go as fast or as slow as the student needs. I encourage students to try new techniques and ideas so they are self-aware of the process and learning experience that leads to self-improvement and development.
During the school year, I work as a curriculum coordinator and art teacher for an after school program in Lexington, Ma. This is my 6th year of teaching stimulating and unique art projects to children in grades K-5. I have interned as a graphic designer and also had jobs as a wedding photographer. During the summer, I work as an assistant director to a summer enrichment program in Winchester, Ma. Outside of work- I am a member at large of the Boston Guild of Puppeteers, and also work on my own art which includes building my portfolio of paintings to show and sell, as well as complete small digital photography jobs.

My comments on tutoring Graphic Design : I have 3+ years experience working in the field of graphic design. I am highly skilled in all the programs associated with this discipline, and know the ins and outs of creating catalogues, business cards, logos, post card designs, posters, and numerous other promotional and marketing materials.

As an art teacher, I want my students to learn to enjoy the creative process and develop an appreciation art, even if it is not something they readily excel at or are considering for a future career path. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutoring experience from family, and friends to jobs taken off of job sites. I have tutored many different courses before and will go out of my way to help a student in need if I am unsure of something. All of the subjects I put that I can tutor I can effectively help a student understand. I do not get frustrated and understand that different people learn different ways and will accommodate for that as best as possible.
