I have plenty that i've been tought so maybe using some of them could help the students understand better.
I am only 19 and i graduated class of 2011. I've had a lot of help when i was in school so i know it can be stressful and tough but i found it a lot easier when i got help from people. Kids may be shy or maybe they just find the work is to hard and there scared to get help but i'm easy and outgoing i don't force kids to do there work. It takes time for them to understand how to work things out how to talk to teachers.

Hey! My names Bethy! I'm 13 years old and in 8th grade. I've been tutoring since I was in 5th grade. I can tutor all ages in almost any subject. Last year I had the highest GPA in my whole school! My comments on tutoring Hearing Impaired : basic/elementary level understanding of ASL American sign language

graduated in 2012 form SCSU in special education k-12 with a psychology minor. I worked in day care setting for 2 years and 5 years working with students with multiple disabilities including learning disabilities, deaf and blindness. I have basic understanding of ASL (aerican sign language) I also have experience with utilizing visual supports. I have some experience developing phonic lessons for beginning and struggling readers. I would say that all people are capable of learning and improving their abilities, knowledge, and skill. My experience has been that if a child, youth, or adult is given the space in which to learn, and introduced to material in a patient manner, in the style that works for them (be that through explanation or visual learning, etc) they will take the initiative to learn and grow at the pace and direction which works for them.
