My teaching style is usually a one-on-one approach beginning with material that is proven to be relatively easier for the student so that that we can establish an enjoyable,interactive approach. We will progress to the level that will take more "thinking" on the student's part. Challenges are also necessary. I have a quiet manner and recognize the importance of the student knowing what is being asked of him/her. My goal is to enhance "independent" thinking in my students.
