I am currently a PhD student in Computer and Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland. I have both my B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University. Often times teachers teach right from the textbook, but this can be confusing and students can be left behind because they learn differently. Microsoft Excel is one of my top subjects!

After I completed my degree, I started working in the government contracting industry as a number cruncher (Pricing Analyst) for proposals. Proposal work tends to be quite challenging and that is where I learned the most about Excel and how to do efficient reporting. I was also fortunate to work with several of the Washington, DC area's Excel experts and eventually became an expert myself. I have worked with large (>$10B a year in revenue) to small (<$10M a year in revenue) firms and continue work in the field supporting an $80M company as the defacto "Excel Guru" and Pricing expert.
