Beginning my sign language career in high school, I have learned to embrace the beautiful language and culture of the deaf community. At that time, I began to tutor a deaf child with minimal language skills and have been tutoring on and off ever since. During my college years, I was asked to tutor American Sign Language for the University of South Florida's athletic program. Currently, I am an educational sign language interpreter working in a middle school. I have my Bachelors degree in Communication and Science Disorders with a concentration in the Interpreter Training Track as well as a minor in American Sign Language. I have my Florida’s Quality Assurance Level One Certification for interpreters and continue to strive to improve my skills everyday.
