I like to make the students think for themselves because I believe that math and physics is more about the understanding of the concept than remembering the formulas. My teaching style is very similar to how I was taught, lots of examples with guidance. I was never given the answer, but given all the tools to necessary to complete the task. In most math courses, the problems themselves are not what you have to worry about, but the clock is the real problem.
