I am an engineering student at Marietta College. I have a strong background of Mathematics all the way up to Differential Equations. I am able to drive to your home, meet you on campus or even a library. I attended a highly selective boarding school in Delaware where my learning and group think skills were developed. I have had to balance extracurricular activities with school for many years and I understand how instrumental a tutor can be in the learning process.
I take a hands on approach to teaching. The best way to learn is by using a three step program. 1) Explain and project the information onto the student, 2) Work the problem out with the student, and 3) Supervise as the student attempts the problem individually. If necessary, I can assign useful problems for the student to complete.

I have tutored fellow students while I was in college in mathematics, chemistry and physics. I have a love and great appreciation of mathematics and all that is involved with it. I have tutored high school students in math, I have tutored college graduates for the math portion of the GRE, and have also tutored non-traditional students in mathematics. I have earned my degree from Ohio University. My degree has opened my eyes to the beauty of mathematics. I am presently working as a substitute teacher. I am certified to teach mathematics in 7th to 12th grades. I have recently passed the Praxis II tests to teach science in 7th to 12th grades. I teach almost every day and I usually teach math or science classes. Previously I worked as an engineer. During this time I mentored and trained new engineers.
I became interested in teaching while I was working at Delphi Automotive. I trained my own staff while I was there.
